Blogging Your Websites To the Top: Myth Or Fact?

Filed under: blogging — CohenChu @ 5:32 pm

I am new in the blogging business, the first thing I do is to post to hosted blogs, most of the blogs I am working on are wordpress based, as far as we know that WordPress is wonderful for automated posting, managing and much more, with the GPL liberal license make the WordPress the most popular weblog platform on the Internet.

After a while I believed that build my own blogs will be more beneficial, because afterwards I can use the already built blogs to promote whatever I want, this is not something new, all kinds of blog networks are out there for the exact purpose, but those are not my own sites and I don’t have control, in addition there is no way I can post to them, its easy to understand that the price on those networks won’t be cheap.

Its a tedious job to maintain more than a few blogs, if you want values for your blogs,to write real stuff for your blogs will be time consuming, a successful blog needs a lot of hard work. Some blogs are quite interesting, let’s examine this one, Dog Bed, it’s name is pretty cute, the content on the site is not bad, since this is not a themed blog, there are all kinds of posts on the site. One more example, Jade and Art, this one has main theme, all topics are about same theme, quite a few keywords rank well for this site. Its easy to show more similar sites, though I guess you get the point already. Last but not least, in your little net you should have some loose blogs, do some casual postings randomly, such as this blog, Pet Product, your blogging network looks more natural with these casual blogs.

After you successfully build a few blogs, you can try to build a few more, then use the established blogs to promote the new ones, this way you get your little blog network rolling. This is just an idea, it won’t be easy to build even a tiny blogging network, one of the most important things is that don’t get your site dropped off index by major search engines.
