I just designed a great breakfast or snack recipe! With strawberries, mini-wheats, and raisens, you just have to try it out yourself!

Strawberry Sensation

1 cup Strawberry Frosted Mini-Wheats
1/2 cup dried strawberries
1/4 cup yogurt covered raisins
1/4 cup chocolate chips, milk or dark

At home:
Combine all ingredients into zip-lock bag.

On the trail: Can be eaten as breakfast or a snack. Serves: 1

mmmhmmmm :) sounds delicious! I'll try it out on my next trek! I wonder what other fruits you could throw in there, too?

Can anyone recommend a place to buy dehydrated strawberries? I don't have a dehydrator yet!

I made that for a warm-up day hike the other day. It was amazing! Thanks mucho for the recipe! You have to have milk chocolate chips, not dark! Crazy people! ;)
Thanks.

Ya sure! I through some dehydrated blue berries from Costco in the mix and it tastes great. And heliski I agree with you that milk chocolate is so much better! But I thought I'd give the reader the option since I guess dark chocolate is healthier. ;)
