I bought a ProLite 3 (short) but returned it for the REI Lite-Core after hearing some people say they were cold with it. Anyone had this problem?

I own the REI Lite-Core 1.5 (short) and I love it! It weights in at 18 ounces and is pretty good for light backpacking. It may not be the lightest pad you can but, but it's pretty comfortable and always keeps me warm! I'd recommend it to any backpacker. I've never tried out the ProLite 3 though, sorry!

Yeah - the REI pad weighs in heavier than some other "lightweight" pads - but boy is it luxury! It's like I'm staying in the Ritz!

What is the price of Lite-Core? And what is the difference between the ProLite and the Lite-Core?

The rei lite-core runs about 55 bucks. After more research I found that mostly, like greenhiker said, the rei pad is thicker and more luxury. The ProLite is more lightweight. Just depends on what you like. I myself want to try to go light, but I still like a nice warm sleep. So I think I'm going to stick with the Lite-Core, though I like the fact that the pro-lite comes in short. I don't think the lite-core does does it?
