Does anyone know if a regular sewing machine (like the one your mom uses) can sew through grosgrain webbing? (I think thats what its called) i'm talking about the straps on gear - like on your backpack - the black nylon webbing.
Anybody have any knowledge about this?

It does work but it's very hard on the machine and your mom may not be too happy...
