Sunshine after the Rain

Found an awesome photo of the PCT in Washington. Thought you guys would be interested. http://www.summitpost.org/image/288941/Sunshine-after-the-Rain.html

"Sunshine after the Rain" is spectacular. The sunbeams shining through the trees, it truly makes me realize that there has to be a supreme being. You can't believe that a "Big Bang" really could have created this breath-taking scenery.

Colton, I fully agree with you. That photograph just makes me marvel at all the things God has created for us. It is amazing. That is the reason I backpack. Seeing the world and all its splendor is so important to me and I am hoping to get my children into hiking more. We have this beautiful scenery to explore and enjoy it, and I fully disagree with any environmentalist that says otherwise. I hope that we can keep places like the Pacific Crest Trail open to the public so that everyone can understand why I love backpacking so much.

That is so beautiful it leaves me almost speechless! 'Vic Hanson' is a true artist when it comes to capturing the beauty of our world. We have to keep it like that for our children! But that doesn't mean that we need to close everything to the public like politicians and the crazy environmentalists think. The outdoors are made for us to enjoy it and we need to keep it that way, we just need to take care of it and not leave our trace when we visit.
Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy, while cares will drop off like autumn leaves. ~John Muir

Ya Greenhiker and jenny I feel the same way.
That photograph just makes me marvel at all the things God has created for us.

I thank God for the amazing and such diverse world we have everyday, and even though it needs to be kept like that, it was made for us to experience it, not to be kept out of it.

Beautiful photo. Thanks for sharing! I've never had the chance to do the PCT, but from what I hear and photos I see it looks like something I need to do before I die, for sure!

Wow that photographer has a laudable eye for beauty. I continued through the Snubeams album and came across one that I find even more amazing. http://www.summitpost.org/view_object.p ... _id=218310 is a beautiful winter shot with the sunlight shining through the snow-covered trees. http://www.summitpost.org/view_object.p ... _id=218310 is also great. Wow I just keep finding ones that I love even more than the last! http://www.summitpost.org/view_object.p ... _id=218310! But I guess you guys can look through the album yourselves, you don't need me to give you links to every single one. :)

Those are all beautiful. I looked through all of them and kept changing my background of my computer to different ones, and I finally settled on Sunset behind Manaslu. Not sure if I can change my desktop background on my work computer or not, but If I can I want to throw a different one up there too!

That one is probably my favorite out of the ones listed, but they are all spectacular! To see those scenes personally must have been something to remember, to bad photography really can't capture all of the beauty.
